As a Certified Industrial Hygienist with 25 years of experience, Walter A. Jones has dedicated his career to ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for the construction industry. At WJ Safety Solutions, our goal is to assist owners and contractors by providing professional occupational safety and health services. Frustrated by reactive safety measures, Walt's journey forged a mission: to partner with contractors, unions, and communities to protect workers and empower them with knowledge."

My journey began with a Master's Degree in Environmental and Occupational Health, but my real passion was forged on job sites across North America—from the SF Bay Bridge renovation to the Vogtle Nuclear Power Plant. I've seen firsthand the difference a proactive, expert-led approach can make in protecting workers and building a culture of safety.

That’s why I founded WJ Safety Solutions to take everything I've learned from my years at the Laborers’ Health & Safety Fund and bring that expertise directly to you. Our expertise has been forged on some of North America's most challenging projects, including Apple's Ring HQ, Levi Stadium, and the DC Potomac River Tunnel Project. These complex sites required more than just compliance; they demanded innovative, proactive solutions to safety and health challenges.
